Omokoroa Physiotherapy services the local Omokoroa community, providing diagnosis and treatment and offers gym facilities to clients to assist with pre and post-operative and trauma rehabilitation.

Meet Our Physiotherapists
Sally is an experienced therapist who specialises in spinal assessment and treatment (post graduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy 1998). Sally also particularly enjoys the challenges of shoulder assessment, treatment and rehabilitation – often utilising the equipment in her rehab gym area (post operative shoulder surgery especially).
Omokoroa Physiotherapy was opened in November 2011 fulfilling Sally’s dream of running her own practice. Sally is committed to providing the best possible care for her clients working closely with other health professionals including GP’s & specialists to maximize treatment outcomes.
In her spare time Sally is an enthusiastic gardener!
Vanessa is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Her special interests are manual therapy and muscle imbalance rehabilitation.
Caro has been a practising Physiotherapist since 1983 & has a special interest in chronic pain management. She has many years of experience in acupuncture & neurological rehabilitation. Her other interests are in paediatrics & pilates exercise for long term management & injury prevention.
Caro has been working at Omokoroa Physiotherapy since 2014 & enjoys the wonderful lifestyle of the Bay of Plenty.
Andy is an experienced Physiotherapist who originally trained in England. He has had a keen association with football over the years both as a player & a coach- this has included injury management of both himself & team members!
Andy is a dog lover & in his spare time is a “handy man”/renovating his house!
Jenny is an experienced Physiotherapist working predominately in the musculoskeletal area and also working with the older adult through retirement villages, rest homes and hospital setting.
Having done many years of manual therapy, including Mulligan, McKenzie, and Maitland Techniques Jenny likes to balance this with a holistic approach of stretches, exercises and self management to allow the patient to be involved in their treatment.
Out of work Jenny can be found walking the Mt and Papamoa Hills, sailing, cycling etc – relaxing and enjoying the opportunities living in the Bay allows us – as well as enjoying her friends, family and grandies time.

Penny is the office manager / receptionist / gym assistant who does a wonderful job organising us all!!
Penny has a background in weight training and has developed a sound knowledge of exercise technique with appropriate resistances making her invaluable in our rehab gym area. Penny goes the extra mile to assist everyone and help promote the benefits of the gym area!
Kerrie’s smiling face also greets everyone at reception ensuring everyone has a positive visit to the clinic!
She has an interest in physical fitness and is an avid gym user.
In her own time, you will find Kerrie camping, swimming in her home pool and spending time with her family and friends.
